Named for iconic mid 19th century sculptor Edmonia Lewis, this full ruffled skirt is an excellent addition for nearly any wardrobe. The linen fabric is soft and layers well over or under other styles, but it’s also easy to wear on it’s own.

The waistband is based on a 19th century trouser closure that allows for a lot of adjustability via buttons! the overlapping tabs at the back can be buttoned at 3 different settings depending on what’s most comfortable for the day, and a modesty panel hooks in place to keep the skirt from gaping. It closes with shell buttons. Of course it has pockets to keep your necessary items near.
