The Eleanora bodice is based on an extant historical piece worn by Eleanora of Toledo. Adapted for modern wear, it’s made in rich cotton velvet. This soft bodice is reminiscent of a waistcoat, there to add an extra layer of support, warmth or just interest! While it’s not a boned garment like a corset, the Eleanora is lined in a heavy weight cotton twill which gives it some structure. I love this piece for the depth a touch of velvet can add to any look.

It closes with 11 flat brushed steel buttons up the front.
