Named for the pseudonym taken by the character Julie D’Aubigny in “Mademoiselle D’Maupin” while she lives in dusguise, this bustier style is based on late 18th century stays. The bodice is lightly boned to give shape and support and laces up the back. This release is crafted in heavyweight black linen with a cotton lining and the edges bound in lovely rayon petersham ribbon.

There are two versions available. The simple Theodorè Bustier is a gorgeous layering piece to add just a little drama to the daily wardrobe, while the adorned Theodorè is trimmed with ribbon style lines and bears the motto “Noli Me Tangere” meaning “You Shall Not Touch Me” across the bust.

10% of profits from the Noli Me Tangere version will be donated to the National Network for Abortion Funds.
