Theda Shirt

Theda Shirt
The Theda shirt is a piece inspired by early swashbuckling cinema!
Imagine Theda Bara instead of Douglas Fairbanks in the 1922 Robin Hood and you’ll have a rough idea where my mind was!
I’ve made a few versions of this piece playing around with materials and design details. This particular version is made in a soft lightweight cotton and opens at the center front. It can be worn closed as a shirt or open as a light summer jacket.
The shirt closes with 26 tiny silver buttons at the center front and cuffs. My favorite bishop sleeves add drama but the button loops at the front allow just a little bit of skin to show through. You may draw your sword to fight the vicious sheriff but he won’t forget you’re also a vamp.
Marked down because of a patterning math snafu - the chest to waist ratio is a little looser than a lot of my other styles! This shirt will not be available in this material after this run!
