Made in soft polished cotton, the D’Aubigney Blouse was inspired by my favorite genderqueer duelist at the court of Louis XIV, Julie D’Aubigney. Julie was also called La Mademoiselle de Maupin and Later inspired a romantic novel by that name. The high collar sports a ruffle that frames the face, and buttons down with mother of pearl buttons. The sleeves are our signature double puff style with more buttons closing at the wrists. I love this piece for menswear and women’s wear looks. It is cut A-line to flare over the hips so it looks lovely with skinny jeans or tucked under a blouse.
